We just got back from our trip to North Carolina, and we had beautiful weather, good times with the family, and LOTS of great fishing. I'm sure that most of you are thinking that this is Gerald bragging about catching yet another fish. However, it is I, Airika, bragging about a 5lb. bass (a fish, not a musical instrument-lol) I caught on Sunday in North Carolina! Here's a picture of me thinking about whether or not I should touch it...
I caught it in Gerald's grandfather's pond and it is a BIG DEAL for two reasons--I have caught approximately 10 fish IN MY LIFETIME AND this fish was larger than any bass that Gerald has ever caught out of that pond! For that reason, and that reason alone, I agreed to hold the fish for a picture. And since I held it, I decided to blog about it!
