For those of you who didn't know, yesterday was Airika's brithday! WOOHOO!! Last night we went out to the Melting Pot with a couple close friends to celebrate. It was our first time going to the there, and it was so much fun! Airika and I are big dessert fans, especially when it comes to chocolate, so this was really a special treat. It was actually a nice, relaxing evening that gave us an opportunity to think back over the last year and see how much we have changed and grown.
We really have been blessed in so many ways. I cannot express how grateful I am to have Airika by my side. She is amazing. I would be totally lost without her, and just in case there was ever and doubt, there would be no Gerald Pope Photography without Airika! If it weren't for her, I'd probably still be parking cars in Nashville... not that there's anything wrong with that. :)Anyway, Airika may be another year older, but that doesn't mean we'll be acting like it any time soon. We are doing our fair share to keep our youthful spirits alive and well! To help in the cause, I got her a Wii for her birthday. Yeah! (OK, OK, I got myself a Wii and I let her unwrap it, just don't tell her! ;)
