Samantha and Jonathan celebrated their wedding with a intimate gathering of friends and family at DeLille Cellars--a beautiful, and little known gem of a location only minutes away from us in Woodinville, WA. As much and Airika and I love traveling to new and exotic locations for weddings, it was a special treat to photograph such a beautiful wedding so close to home!
I really like this photo that Airika grabbed shortly before their ceremony. The striking thing to me is that the only editing that has been done to this image is a contrast adjustment. She created the toning, the texture and the soft feel of this image by shooting through a thin, transparent curtain hanging in the doorway of this room... silently capturing the mood and the feeling of their last quiet moment together before forever joining themselves as husband and wife.

Love the last moment together, and the ring bearer, but they are all wonderful. I can relate to "it was a special treat to photograph such a beautiful wedding so close to home!" for sure.
