Well, the holiday season is upon us! Is it just me or does December arrive unexpectedly every year? Normally, I would avoid saying things like "time flies" because they get repeated over and over and it bugs me to no end. However, the truth in that statement surprises me every year...

Nevertheless, Airika and I did manage to find the time last weekend to get out and shoot a few photos of ourselves for our Christmas card. If you have never gotten a card from us, send us an email at gerald@geraldpope.com and we'll put you on the list!

If you have a favorite, please be sure to let us know in the comments below. We still haven't picked the one we're going to use for our card! ~Gerald

Since you asked....
As a photo, I like the black and white one best. As a Christmas card, I like the middle one with the leaves because you guys look happy and people can see your faces.

But I really have no idea what I'm talking about. You're the artists! :)

The black and white is my favorite. Very mysterious...

They're all good but I would absolutely go with the B&W one! Very nice. Are these all on a tripod /timer? I've been wanting to do some of Kellye and I but I know this takes MUCH longer and is kinda clumsy. Any pointers?

Eddie, these are done the old fashioned way--using a timer and running back to get in the picture. It is absolutely clumsy and time consuming, but it's very entertaining. A wireless remote trigger would have been much more efficient, but what's the fun in that?!?

I love the b&w one... it is wonderfully artistic and beautiful. However, as your sister, and someone who doesn't get to see your lovely faces often, I love the 2nd one! It definitely captures a lot of your joy and personality :)

I don't know if you guys remember me - we met at the ShootQ setup. I love the black and white - great shadows. Merry Christmas!

I like the last one best! I think it has the best emotion and really shows your love for each other. Everyone sends a traditional picture! Go for something different!
