A few weeks back we went to Safeco Field to watch a baseball game. The Mariners weren't playing that night though--we actually went to watch the Oregon State Beavers play the University of Washington Huskies. (Just in case you didn't know, Oregon State won the College World Series last year.) Anyway, we went to the game because we know the catcher for Oregon State, Mitch Canham (he's dating Airika's cousin, Marlis).
All of this is important because Mitch just got drafted to the San Diego Padres in the first round! We are extremely excited for him and wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS!
Now, on to the pictures.... We had great seats in the second row behind the dugout--it really made me want to be a sports photographer! Here are a few shots of Mitch during the game.
Here's Marlis, cheering from the stands!

Cool.... Nice shots you got too. What was your lens

Thanks Gavin!
Most of these are with a Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS. The one wide angle shot was with a 17-40mm 4.0L.
Being up front makes all the difference...
