Beauty Revolution

A few months ago, Gerald and I were approached by the editors of a start-up online magazine, called Beauty Revolution. When asked if we would be interested in photographing for their spring issue, our response was a resounding "yes!" It ended up being such a fun experience, that we are already talking with them about their next issue. :)

Below is one of our favorite images from the shoot. The model, Rashi Stephens (2008 Miss India North America), is a beautiful woman both inside and out, and it was an absolute pleasure working with her and the rest of the BR team that day. Her gown, created by couture designer Monir Zandghoreishi was absolutely stunning and the perfect pick for this shoot.

Seattle/Tacoma Pug Meeting

For those of you who don't know, Airika and I lead a group of local photographers who get together every month to hang out, eat food, and talk a little about photography. Last month I was the "guest speaker" and led the group in a mini off camera flash tutorial. Hopefully it was as educational for all of them as it was for me!



Toward the end of the night, I sat on the other side of the lens for a few quick shots. I always look goofy in photos, but somehow Jessica Hanaumi managed to make a model out of me! Thanks!

I Love Window Seats!

Whenever Airika and I travel, we carry on all of our gear because you'd be pretty silly to trust baggage handlers with your livelihood. On the one hand, it really stinks because I end up being the guy that holds up the line at airport security. On the other hand, I've got a nice camera handy for whenever I see something interesting out the window. Here's a few shots I took on our way home from California a few weeks ago...




In a matter of hours, Airika and I will hop on another plane to head to Maui for Jordan and Ty's wedding. We can't wait!
