For a little glimpse into the lives of Amy and Colin, look no further than this first photo! They are two of the most youthful, fun-loving, laid-back, go-with-the-flow-no-matter-what, people that I know.
Their story began in a little town out in Seymour, Indiana. They were both working at a summer youth camp run by Spring Hill (which coincidentally, I also worked at one summer when I was in college!) Over the course of the summer, they began to spend more and more time together, all the while denying that there was anything going on, both to their friends and apparently to themselves!
As I listened to their story I couldn't help but laugh because I saw so much of myself in it. I was close friends with Airika for over 5 years before I admitted to anyone that I "might" like her. This despite the fact that I had been faithfully hand writing letters back and forth with her for 3 years by that point!
Anyway, at some point, they also came to their senses and embraced what had been staring them in the face all this time, and here they are...
Amy and Colin, Airika and I are absolutely thrilled for you guys, and we can't wait to see what is in store for you!

Kelly and Patrick: Fashion Aftershoot
You may remember Kelly & Pat from one of their 2 awesome engagement sessions, or perhaps from their gorgeous wedding at The Canal last April. Well, as it so happened, it snowed in Seattle on Kelly & Pat's wedding day, which meant that their dreams of sunny outdoor portraits were thwarted. So, they contacted us and asked if they could do a post-wedding photo shoot, and we happily agreed!
We worked with Kelly & Pat to plan the theme of their session and decided that the Fairmont-Olympic Hotel in downtown Seattle and the University of Washington campus would be the best surroundings for the images we were hoping to create. Well, the weather and our locations did not disappoint and we were even lucky enough to sneak a couple of quick photos inside a cute little cafe AND the UW library, which were rare treats indeed!
Kelly & Pat, thank you for a fabulous day and for your patience while we worked on your images. We are so excited about all of them and can't wait to see them in print!
Kelly & Pat, you are gorgeous & amazing! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with you yet again!

Samantha & Jonathan
Beautiful. What else can I say? Samantha and Jonathan totally rocked it! If I had the free time to blog 50 photos from this session I would, but alas...
We hit up a few really cool locations in their neck of the woods--Cal Anderson Park, the cute little pea patch that they've started together, and the rooftop of Jonathan's Seattle appartment.
Most people, (myself included) are not comfortable in front of a camera. Samantha, however, is not most people. What a killer look!

Jordan & Ty: Life
Meet Jordan & Ty. Jordan likes to laugh. and smile. at Ty. Ty adores Jordan. They are a perfect match.
I love it when a couple's love for each other is so evident that I can't stop smiling the entire time I am shooting their session. That was the way it was with Jordan and Ty. From the moment we met them, we knew that they were the right match for us and we couldn't wait to get them in front of our cameras.
Jordan & Ty, we had a blast with you and can't wait to photograph your wedding in Maui next May. Enjoy your photos!
Jordan is not only a rockin' model, she also has a knack for photography. Check out this photo she took of Gerald and I.
Thanks for such a great time, guys! We should do it again sometime. ;)

B & R--A preview
B (names protected for privacy) is hands-down one of the most creative people I know. She had her hand in just about every detail of her wedding--the bouquets, invations, programs, reception design (including seating cards, table runners, menus, photos, table arrangements) and starfish favors--were all perfectly coordinated by B. I am 100% serious when I say that she could have a VERY successful wedding planning and event design business!!!
Thanks for a great day, B & R. It's a pleasure to share our anniversary with you! :)
