Sharon & Nathaniel's Wedding preview
Last fall, Sharon & Nate contacted us about photographing their wedding in Philadelphia. We were immediately excited about the prospect of working in Philly (I hadn't been there since I was kid and Gerald had never been there), but when they shared their love story with us (they've been dating for ten years!) and told us about how important photography was to them, we knew that it was a match made in heaven! :)
Fast-forward a few months...we received an email from Sharon saying that she saw an image that we posted on our blog and she loved the veil so much that she was having one made for her wedding! Then, we started getting emails from Nate with thumbnail images of all the cool places they might want to do photo sessions on their wedding day. You can imagine our excitement--we couldn't wait to hop the plane to Philly!
As you can see, our excitement was well-founded--Sharon and Nate truly value photography and planned their wedding day to allow for several hours of photography before the actual wedding. (In case you were wondering, this is every photographer's dream.) We brought home some amazing images and can't wait to share them with you! We're almost finished with Sharon & Nate's slideshow, but in the meantime, here are a few images from the day to tide you over.
Aren't these flowers amazing?
Thanks for trusting us to capture your special day, Sharon & Nate. Your slideshow is coming very soon...

Sarah & Dione!
However, back in March we did an engagement session with Sarah and Dione, and the weather was gorgeous. We seriously had a great time haning out around the UW campus--I really can't wait for things to warm up around here for good!
Thanks Sarah and Dione! We are looking forward to your wedding next month!

Leavin' Las Vegas Shootout!
As I mentioned in my previous post, we are playing blog catch-up! Back in March, on the last day of our trip to Vegas, Gerald and I piled into a bus with a bunch of talented photographers and headed into the desert for a fun "free-for-all" creative shoot. Here are a few of our shots from that day:
We were super excited when the talented cinematography team at Still Motion (they were recently voted one of the top 25 cinematographers in the world) selected some of our images for inclusion in their trailer of the Leavin' Las Vegas Shootout. Check out this video, but be forewarned that you're going to want to hire them for your wedding when you're done! :)
Leavin' Las Vegas Shootout
Thanks to the teams at Trash the Dress and Don't Box Us In for putting this event on!
And to all of our past and present brides...if you want to create some images of yourself like the ones you've just seen, we are now offering post-wedding fashion sessions exclusively for you. If you're up for an adventure (and want to get some super hot images of you in your wedding dress), give us a ring and we can set a date for your shoot! :)

Philly
Ok, so for those of you who didn't already know, Airika and I are in Philladelphia this week shooting a destination wedding! We got together with Sharon and Nathaniel yesterday for a few pre-wedding photos--what a great couple! We especially enjoyed getting to meet their pet chickens. They also invited us to the rehersal dinner last night for some authentic Philly Cheesesteaks, tastykakes, and waterice. Flipping awesome! Tonight, the wedding... yeah!

Lindsay & Joe
Our list of things to blog about just keeps getting longer and longer... It's so hard to keep up! This however, cannot wait! We had an amazing wedding on Saturday and we just had to share a few of the photos! We shot at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Pravda Studios, and Cal Anderson Park and got a ton of great images that we couldn't wait to share. Props to Jenny Harding from A New Chapter for keeping the wedding day organized and beautiful!
This was the first wedding this year that used one of our new Guest Sign-in books (click here to view the layout of their book). If you haven't gotten one of these, you should seriously consider it. Towards the end of the night, the bride(Lindsay) mentioned to me that all she heard all night was "You look incredible, and where did you get that guestbook?!?" :)
For those of you who were guests, click here, or on the shopping cart icon in the slideshow to register to see the rest of the photos when they are ready.
Congratulations Joe & Lindsay!
